[Letter] 1858 Apr. 20, Richmond to [John Albert Broadus] / Basil Manly. 1858.

Wrote that he had completed his report [for the Educational Convention, meeting in Greenville, S.C., May 1, 1858]. He had conferred with [Jeremiah Bell] Jeter, [A.M.] Poindexter, and [Robert] Ryland about it. "This delayed it till last week, and so I concluded not to delay it by sending it to you, but transmit it at once to [James P.] Boyce [who chaired the Education Committee]. He wrote about travel plans for himself and Jeter and ended by commenting on a "great revival at Richmond College. Only a very few seem still unconcerned."
